Groninger Insurance Agency LLC was founded in 1969 by our father James E Groninger Sr. and mother Judith H Groninger. We are now into the second generation with James E Groninger II and Jonathan H Groninger.

Our dad ingrained in our beings his basic business and life principle: “Do the best you can for your customers. Treat them the way you would want to be treated – the Golden Rule, and everything else will take care of itself”.

The Groninger Insurance Agency has continued to grow into a leader in insurance protection for the Susquehanna Valley. Each time we have grown, we moved locations. The agency first started in a small butcher shop, then we moved to 240 Fifth Street, and now the agency is in a beautiful building on Route 147 96 Duke Street Northumberland.

We strive to wow those looking for insurance products and services! Take a few minutes to read the testimonies of those that we have provided service for over 45 years! Give us a call and experience the difference with Groninger Insurance!
