In any business, customers can be either your best friend or your worst enemy. The side of the coin you are on depends on one thing: your attitude!

As a used auto dealer, insurance is important. But having the right insurance is nearly useless if you don’t have any customers! There are a few tricks you can use when dealing with customers to help Improve their view of your dealership, and to make sure they refer your business to their friends and family.

  • Make your customers fell like they are important to you
  • Greet every customer as soon as they come in to your business
  • Ensure that employees take care of your customers, and that it is always their first priority
  • Have certifications and copies of your used auto dealer insurance available for customers upon request
  • Send thank you notes to everyone that purchases from you
  • Make follow up calls after the sale, asking if the customer has any additional questions
  • If you speak to a customer about problems with credit or the sale, make sure to speak to them in a private location, away from other customers
